Green Lime Pie Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 1 cup sliced ripe bananas
- ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract (alcohol-free)
- 1 tablespoon sunflower butter
- 2 cups shredded spinach leaves
- 1 whole pitted date
- 1 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk
- 4 ice cubes
Instructions
1. Prepare all ingredients.
2. Put everything in a blender and whiz until smooth.
3. Pour into a tall glass and serve immediately.
Variation:
To make this dessert smoothie more even more enticing, top with whipped cream and graham cracker bits.Use strawberries or blueberries instead of lime for a different taste.
